A “highly accessed” debate article in the open access journal BMC Medical Education urges the use of web authoring tools, including shared use by students, clinicians and patients. The authors suggest that “If effectively deployed, wikis, blogs and podcasts could offer a way to enhance students’, clinicians’ and patients’ learning experiences.” I’d be very interested in others’ ideas about what effective deployments might be.
