More creative ways to use podcasting in HE

OK, let’s reproduce lectures for flexible learning, but are there more creative ways to think about podcasting in higher education?  ”As a method of distribution, podcasting in likely to have only a minimal impact upon higher education teaching and learning… However, the lack of impact from podcasting as a method of distribution should not lead us into overlooking the significant influence that podcast creation tools are developing in education… Especially in the schools sectors, podcasts are being created mainly as experiential, authentic, group based, constructivist learning experiences.
